Philosophy
Our stainless steel product is excellent in durability and recyclable "Earth-Friendly Metal" suitable for recycling society. In the process of manufacturing stainless steel, it makes use of the energy such as fuels and electricity, emits the exhaust gas and by-product, therefore stainless steel idustry is greatly related to preservation of the environment. For these environmental provisions, we make great efforts reducing the impact on the environment, saving energy and resources, reducing by-products, and recycling of resources, so that we actively promote these provisions and can contribute to the establishment of society harmonized with the environment
Policy

(2) To comply with laws and provisions related to the environment
(3) To establisgh the environmental objectives and targets, periodically review these and continuously improve the environment
I, as a superintendent of the Environment Management System, acquaint all of employees with this policy presenting by documents in order to make all of sections at Kinuura works understand, implement and maintain this policy. Moreover I appoint a general manager of the Environment and Safety department to be an administrator of the Environment Management System to accomplish to maintain and manage of this policy.

Kinuura Works has acquired ISO 14001 certification to aggresively promote reduction of environmental burden, energy saving, reducing and recycling by-products, and global environmental conservation.
Efforts to Achieve Recycling Society
Dust, slags and scales generated in the manufacturing processes are disposed of if they are not processed. However, we use the briquet system to collect and granulate the useful metals included in dust, slags and scales and recycle those metals. Slages are picked up, pulverized, and recycled as a roadbed material and even a concrete aggregate product to promote effective use of energy resources. In addition, high-efficiency light fixtures are used in the offices to conserve energy.
Efforts to Conserve Global Environment
We are striving to prevent air and water pollution by making full use of our diversified environment-conscious systems. Our dust collecting system prevents steel dust from being released into the air. Toxic gases including Nox and nitrate nitrogen are decomposed into nontoxic nitrogen gas in our flue gas treatment system. Industrial waste water and miscellaneous drainage are purified and some of them are recycled.
