Kinuura Works is the core institution of Nippon Metal Industry and manufactures all of our stainless steel products.
A group of aesthetic and environment-friendly our plants built with fully stainless steel stands in 650,000 square meters of the Kinuura Coastal Industrial Zone along Kinuura Bay i Hekinan-shi, Aichi Prefecture.
Kinuura Works consists of a melting shop where raw materials are melted in a 70 tons electric furnace and refined by the combination of AOD (Argon-Oxygen Decarburization), VOD (Vacuum Oxygen Decarburization), and LF (Ladle Furnace), a state-of-the-art hot rolling shop that centers on a Steckel-type rolling mill, and a cold rolling shop where 5-ft-wide Sendzimir-type cold rolling mill and ultrathin precision rolling mill are installed. The cutting-edge process control system is integrated in all the processes.
Thanks to the advanced distribution system including the automated transportation system and highrised warehouses as well as our sophisticated environmental programs backed by the thoroughgoing antipollution system, we have established a worldwide reputation as a model fo ecellent stainless steel manufacturer.
